Hi I am a soon to graduate LPN (Nurse) and am thinking of moving to prescott valley with my family kids -18,15,13,10 years old, and husband of course. My parents live in Prescott valley and It would be nice to be near family. What is the job market like for nurses? Can I make a decent living?

Yavapai Regional Medical Center has a big facility in Prescott Valley and in Prescott and they are always hiring nurses. In fact, I can't think of an occupation that is more in need. Good luck to you!

Congratulations on getting your LPN!!! I second esselcue's thoughts. Nursing is in big demand here. Because of the population growth in recent years, the Prescott area is trying desperately to attract more physicians to the area. YRMC just built the satellite hospital in Prescott Valley which is to become the main hospital with the older hospital in Prescott becoming a specialty hospital. There is also a newer physical rehab facility and some additional options for work besides the hospital.
The best to you on your new career! |
