Sterling is a proposed city east of Golden Shores (Topock) along I-40 -- I think around 10,000 acres. It's been off and on in the works for a number of years. Lately, on.
Highway 95 realignment engineering and environmental impact studies have been underway for several years as well, with a feasibility study completed by ADOT in 05.
The proposal is for 95 to be rerouted to a new N - S alignment east of where it currently is. Vanderslice Road has been mentioned quite a bit as the 'widening point'. This would connect I-40 to SR 68 and open up that entire corridor between Golden Shores and Laughlin that is sparsely populated and mostly rural, unused land (much of it BLM)
I read in the EDJ Untitled Document or Bullhead City Bee, one of those not too long ago that Riverview Drive was the location of the new bridge. And somewhere else that the Parkway would extend out past the new Target Kohl's to become the new bridge. They are definitely extending the parkway right now. Just drove past it.
It's been somewhat of a hot button because Harry Reid's got some property 'sorta' nearby (it's within a few miles, anyway) and has been pushing completion of the bridge from the Nevada side to the tune of 18M:

Candice,
Bingo, your the first one that figured it out. You win the prize whenever I figure it out what it is. When did you grow up here and then leave?

Ok, lunch at Miguels's or wherever. Got a new one off of Ontario and a new one going in off of I15. Been in the Circle City since 63. Had 4 graduate from CHS. Still here due to family. Long story.

DM me if you need too.

Ok, back on topic.

I am going to move back to AZ but not where I used to live(Lake Havasu). I am considering moving to BHC/or Kingmen AZ. I am just confused where a good area with 3 kids ages 7-14 and being a single mom could find a safe place?

I am re-locating from Victorville Ca and I have been here 3 1/2 years and I am sick of it! I just want to live somewhere where my rent would be under $ 800 a/month. I pay $1175 a/month and I feel I am throwing my money away. I just had my bancruptcy discharged and ready to start my new single life with my children.

Any ideas with rental companys that have a sense of humor lol?

Thanks a bunch!
