As a member of MC Justice Watch I can say that of the three city's Bullhead is the least corrupt. Not to say problems do not happen in Bullhead, the Vice Mayor is living in another city but that should be resolved soon. Kingman has a Judge that is under investigation under the resign to run law and for living with a women who was before him in a divorce case.
Lake Havasu is the worst. It has a corrupt Judge who was reprimanded and a police force that is under investigation for false arrest. The CVB is worried about the calls for a boycott this year of the city. It has been written up in LA newspapers and found its way to San Diego talk radio where a member of MC Justice Watch was interviewed.

Of the three area's Bullhead is better.

I am re-locating from Victorville Ca and I have been here 3 1/2 years and I am sick of it! I just want to live somewhere where my rent would be under $ 800 a/month. I pay $1175 a/month and I feel I am throwing my money away. I just had my bancruptcy discharged and ready to start my new single life with my children.

Any ideas with rental companys that have a sense of humor lol?

Thanks a bunch!
What kind of skills do you have? You're moving without a job in place?

Im A Realtor And The Differences Are, Laughlin Is The Fun Side, Bullhead Is The Business Side, Taxes Are Higher In Laughlin And So Are Homes, Gas, Etc, You Must Go To Bullhead To Shop, Like A Big Grocery Store, Cheaper Gas, And For Most Services, No Shopping In Laughlin, Except For A Small Market, Pizza Shop Etc, Everyone Lives In Bhc As Cost Are Less, Besides Gambling And The Bowling Alley, Everything Is In Bhc.........

You just answered a big question of mine; something that has been bugging me for years now.

I have noticed that BHC has the attitude of 'what you see, is what you get'------good, bad, ugly or indifferent. In other words: honesty does come to mind.

But, I have also observed an undercurrent of 'rotten' vibes in Kingman as well as LHC.

Havasu will become famous soon enoughHavasu will become famous soon enough
The boycott worked great, the lake was empty and the launch ramps did not fill up and hotel rooms were not full either.
We didnt have any Gang Bangers in town either what a great weekend.
It couldnt be from the high gas prices or the crummy weather though.
Its like the good old days.

It has been an unusually cold winter here and I cannot wait for summer. We have two hunting dogs which are outside dogs and we put a misting system on their dog kennel last summer and they were fine. We are soon getting a Target and a Kohl's and there is alot of great places to shop for food, clothing and household items like furniture and decor. There are some very nice communities, especially off the parkway ....... Fox Creek, Laughlin Ranch, Desert Foothills and more. All I can say is that I wish I had moved years back. I love it here.

Kristeen

What that is crazy talk right there! So many things to do there. Wrong! So many places to shop. Wrong again! I lived and grew up in that town and there is absolutly nothing to do there unless you ride dirt bikes, go to the river, or hunt doves. The school system sucks too! When I was in high school 2 teachers I knew had sex with a student. One got caught the other didn't. The principle sold a gun to a kid at school. It is sooo hot out there in the summer most of the locals hit the river and drink. That gets old after a while. The heat is intense you can actually fry an egg on the sidewalk no joke! Then for the shopping its nice that they finally got a target, home depot and Kohles but thats about it besides walmart. The lauglin outlet mall doesn't have any good shops either. There isn't much for kids to do either besides get into trouble. It takes certain type of people to live there. I can see if you are a snow bird and don't like to do much then it'd be cool.

Everyone in my family except me is still there - south of Ontario near Taylor St. My mom taught at Vicentia School for 30 years.
