Default Richard Florida rates Arizona #6 high-tech state - sound plausible?

I found this interesting.....would you say that Phoenix and Tucson alone push Arizona in this high ranking? Are you surprised that Arizona is such a high-tech state? Do you see that if you are a resident there, and where do you notice Arizona's high-tech achievements? Would you also say that Arizona is internet-focused and friendly as well?

Or is the survey full of bull?

BTW, I just realized that ASU and U of Az are prob big factors in this...in that case, Tempe must be the most high-tech city in Arizona..

Default East Valley of Phoenix IS hi tech

The east valley has: Intel, Motorola, Freescale, General Dynamics, Honeywell etc... Every other person you meet here is an engineer. It's a mini Silicon Valley here.
