Default Arizona is fertile as jackrabbits......

Just saw national state ranking for fertility, and, Az ranks just below Utah in fertility....whats in the water in Az? Spanish fly? LOL!

The rest of the states are far behind....the two neighbor states are fertile as jackrabbits....

Utah I can understand (Mormons).
Arizona I don't know (is there lots of Mormon overflow from neighboring Utah?)

Yes, there are. There's a big LDS temple in Mesa, but there are A LOT of LDS churches throughout the valley. I have three within 3 miles of my house.

Well, that might explain it then.

we definitely have the demographics - a pretty good sized LDS community, some young families that are just starting out who are moving in and there is a lot

we also have a lot of teen pregnancy - especially in the hispanic communities

That's a good one!
Hmmm, watch cable, surf the web, eat, and , uhhhhhhhhhhhh.......honey,
could you come over here for a SEC?

i WONDER if there's a spike in births around spring the next year..would explain it all(9 month gestation).....Funny, this is really true(AZ right behind
Utah in fertility, with the other 48 far behind)....got it off a fed gov't website when I was bored...

Sounds like a mix of mormons and hispanics(who trend far younger, and have far more births per person), AND the youngish age of people moving to the valley and rest of state.....yes, you would think it would be older, but az trends very young in general...finally, you have the indians on the rez, who are young and bored, so what would you think they do?
Same as everyone else when young and bored.......

Hope that explains why AZ is the second most fertile state in the US..

It's the water. It all started awhile back when someone accidentally dropped in some Viagara tablets in the city water treatment plant.
