Motley,
Potatoe bugs here in the south look much diffrent.

I do remember hereing the word Vinegaroon while I was out there, and I was told that they were dangerous, but everything that I read is that they are non venmonus. But they are pretty easy to avoid if you don't walk barefooted. LOL

So, Does anyone have any suggestions on the best place to move to in AZ? We would like to be within an hour or two of the navajo reservation (the Indian Wells/Dilcon) area. But we would like to be where there are city amnities, such as electric, phone service, high speed internet, and city water, etc. We are Considereing the Show Low/Snowflake/Taylor area, but they seem to be very expensive. Does anyone have any opionions? I found an apartment in Showlow for $500.00 a month for a 4 bedroom/3 bath. From everything else I have seen this seems reasonable. Let me know what you think.

Yes, that's a sun spider, wind scorpion or vinegaroon. They are extremely fast and they will bite/sting/ . They are known by cowboys for roosting in boots around a campfire. My terrier tried to eliminate one from the kitchen floor a couple of years ago and got a nasty sting on his snout.
