looking for a city to move to in Arizona...
I have lived in Phoenix, Mesa and Glendale.
We are planning to move back to Arizona, looking for a town up near the border of Utah, like areas around flagstaff. Or maybe ideas in a different direction of Arizona, just not around Phoenix.
thanks

There are a lot of towns in northern AZ...from Prescott to Seligman to Page...you have to be more specific in what you're looking for

ok, we like the 4 seasons i know that some parts of Arizona have that, good schools to raise kids, good jobs- my fiance is a floor installer and i am a receptionist. It doesn't have to have a mall but if one is near that would be great also. Low crime, kid friendly, we would probably rent before buying. Where i live at you can't find a 2-3 bedroom house for rent in decent shape under $1000 a month, so we would like something cheaper than that each month. Good restaurants, if not in the same city at least close by, things for the family to do
thank you esselclue i will look at those cities, when i worked for the airlines in PHX, our airline had a lot of flights to prescott but i have never been there.

You may like Prescott / Prescott Valley / Chino Valley and we're only 1-1/2 or 2 hr drive from Phoenix. 4 seasons, small town feel, etc.

Rentals in Prescott Valley will run about $750/mo for a nice 2-bdrm duplex, to $900-$1000 for a modest 3 bdrm home, to $1500 for a larger 3/2/2. Of course you can pay more, and Prescott rentals are generally a little higher.
I've heard Flagstaff is really high for rentals - I guess because it's a college town.
