Default Prescott/Prescott Valley 55+

Does Prescott or Prescott Valley have any 55+ neighborhoods? We are looking for condo's or manufactured home neighborhoods that has a clubhouse, etc.
for my Mom. We are moving to Prescott ( in 5 weeks), and right now my Mom lives in a 55 + manufactured home park in Tucson. She really enjoys where she is now, but I would like her to live closer when she gets older.

I put a bug in her ear a while back, and she is interested to see what is available. I'm sure she won't like the cooler winters though.

Thank

Prescott does...Pine Lakes west of town is a nice 55+ community. There are also 55+ condos and such in the developments off of Pioneer Parkway (where the waterfalls are on High 89). I don't know about PV....except for the manufactured home community on the edge of Dewey. My brain is escaping me with names right now.

There is Victorian Estates over by the new Prescott Valley Crossroads shopping area. Those are site-built homes. Then there's Lynx Creek Estates across from Prescott Country Club. Those are manufactured homes.

Also, there is Prescott Country Club. It's not an age restricted community, but there is a clubhouse and lots of senior activities. There are both manufactured homes and also site-built homes in PCC.

And by the way, Welcome to Prescott!!!

P.S. I guess I didn't read your post close enough. My first post was the Prescott Valley area. In Prescott, there are the Courtyards at Willow Creek, and also the Cottages at Willow Creek (site built homes and patio homes). There is also Prescott Canyon Estates (near the new Lowe's store). Those are manufactured homes. (There are some issues with the retaining wall that Lowe's put in between their store and the development.) There are also some mobile home courts that are age restricted - these are ones where you own your own mobile, but rent the space.

Prescott also has some patio homes in gated communities that aren't age restricted, but that cater to seniors.

If you are not interested in owning the land, there is also Orchard RV Park, which is south of PV, near the Villages at Lynx Creek - the 55+ manufactured community. Villages backs up to the public Quailwood Greens golf course and has a list a mile long with activities. They also have a clubhouse with an indoor pool. Take a look at their website: The Villages at Lynx Creek

I know for sure my mother would not want to own land. Very little up keep would be best since she has low vision.

Thanks for the information!!!

We are in "monsoon season" right now, which means we'll get brief rains almost everyday. Because of that, things are nice and green from about July 1st thru mid-September. Our daily highs are mid-80's during this time period. A typical day will start out sunny and warm, then it starts to cloud up after lunch. We'll get some rain mid to late afternoon which cools the temps, and then the sun is usually back out around 5 or 6. This is my favorite time of year!
