Much better.

You'd be less likely to get run over by a pony express rider then.

Hey Zony, I don't known about the "old West" experience, but if you want the "Wild West" experience, move to Detroit! There are vast tracts of open land where homes once stood. You can homestead there and be a pioneer! There are plenty of saloons where disputes are settled with guns and plenty of "ladies of easy virtue" for that wild west boomtown color. It's sorta like Deadwood! Just look at the mayor. Is he Al Swearingen or what?

Make sure it has spinner rims on it and plenty of bass. You'll want to make a good first impression!

Yes, the "old" west is gone - but, there are places where the "flavor" is abundant - as are the attitudes.

Take a drive to Wilcox, or Benson. Kearny and Globe. Tombstone. There are little towns off the beaten track near Prescott and Southeast of Flagstaff.

Speaking of Flagstaff - go north to Page. Stop in Tuba City. Go to Second Mesa.

Try Winslow and Joseph City. Then there are Snowflake and Taylor.

The "Old" West still does live in Arizona.

Have fun!

The town of Quemado, NM, seemed pretty darn "Old Westy" to me.

So... WHERE is the Old west? Okay... its still sorta here... and there... everywhere.

They still have daily gunfights in "Old Tucson", the place where the 1939 movie, Arizona, was filmed. They also have stagecoach rides.

Prolly some of the same down in Tombstone - "the town too tough to die". Not to mention the OK Corral and Boot Hill down there.

Then there's Willcox, where Rex Allen is from. Pretty much a westerny kinda place. And, all over Arizona, you can buy western attire; and, there are still horses and stables and dude ranches and plenty of country & western music radio stations.

Yeah... I guess there's still some of that stuff out here in the Arid Zone. So, come on out and see us, y'all!
