Arizona isn’t much into the automotive industry other then car repair shops. The Phoenix metro area isn’t into manufacturing however there are car dealerships and automotive repair just about everywhere.
If you haven’t visited the southwest you should do that before you make a permanent move here. I’d suggest the summer time visit with our heat for a few weeks. There are days when the inside of your car will reach over 130 degrees inside,
hot enough that you can’t touch to metal parts on the car without getting burnt. Some people can live with it others can’t and are forced to move again. Also a visit to the area would allow you to look at the job market as well.
