Default Heading to Kingman.

Hey Arizona gang. We are looking forward to moving to your great state. After months of research, we looked at many many places - we have decided on Kingman.

I understand there are quite a few rental properties available - can any here confirm that?

I think I have read almost all the posts here re: Kingman and there is some very good information. Thanks to all.

Can't wait to get there.

John & family

Greetings, John. You've made a good choice.

There are a ton of rentals on the market. Once place to start looking would be in the Kingman Daily Miner newspaper classifieds. There are some rentals on the website, but in my experience, more in the newspaper. What kind of rental are you looking for? Here's a link to unfurnished house rentals on their website. There are 34 listed here. Kingman Daily Miner - Unfurnished Homes

Hello kdog - and thanks for your input on this site.

We are looking for a 2-3 bdrm, decent neighborhood, would like to have 2 car garage but not absolutley necessary. Nice large yard - you get the idea. We have a 9 year old son so the school district is a factor.

Thanks for the link - I'm hitting it now.

John

You're in luck with the 2/3 bedroom deal, because there are tons of the market.

With a kid in grade school, I recommend either the Hualapai or Manzanita school districts.

Wow! Looks like quite a few choices. Thats a huge weight lifted. Thanks for the district recommendation. I had those in mind from reading other posts. Looks like a few available houses in those areas too.

We will more then likely rent for a year or so then hopefully buy. I'll be on the phone tonight with an agent, get the ball rolling.

Now I'm getting amped up. This is great.

Thanks Todd -

Just got of the phone with the moving company - they will be here on the 27th and we are leaving the next day. Unbelievably, to get movers to load us up and move us is less expensive then a Uhaul. Which is great, I wasnt really looking forward to dragging a car trailer across the county. Will make for a much nicer trip.

yahoo!

Hey Hey welcome to Kingman!
This is the time to buy when things are down.
As you are discovering there won't be any problem finding a rental.
Keep us posted on which area you maybe interested in and we should be able to give a report on that area of town.
