Hey everyone. Just came across this forum. My wife and I own a parcel in Sierra Highlands and it's nice to have a way to communicate with other land owners. Funny hearing about people getting stuck in the wet season. We buried my 42 foot living quarters horse trailer this year in the lower section attempting to get to the top. Never made it, lol. After digging all night finally got out then unhooked the trailer and took one of our quads up to see how the two sand washes we're and it was out of the question. Total rig length pulling the quad trailer behind the horse trailer is 74 feet so the road condition has to be fairly good to get to our property on top, lol. Was by far one of the worst experiences of my life! Tried coming in the back way last week with only the horse trailer and got lost. Yet another great experience, lol. Love the isolation and great horseback riding. Horses didn't like the well water. Gonna buy a Berky gravity water filter and see if they like it any better next time up. With 4 horses water is a necessity and that trip to town sucks!
