Prescott is about 500 feet higher in altitude and so has a few degrees cooler weather. It is more wooded, it has a lot of quaintness to it, and offers most any services needed. It is a really beautiful town but real estate prices reflect that and for many it is just too expensive to live there.

Chino is much smaller, is mainly grazing land and junipers and grasslands, but the town has every necessity: Safeway, Walgreens, McDonalds, Dominos, other cafes and restaurants, medical center, nurseries, etc, but no "extras"...gotta drive to PV for a movie theater or a mall. Most of the housing in Chino is on acres or more, although there are a few developments now with smaller lot sizes. Housing is less expensive. It is more rural, lots of horses out in Chino. Quieter lifestyle.
