Santa Fe Ranch AZ near Yucca (Kingman, Golden Valley: house, to buy, living)

I own property off Alamo Rd. Anyone else? Have you cut your parcel? Price of a well? Who do you recommend for a surveyor? I have wanted to build a home after cutting the parcel for years now. Think I am ready. Any advice?

Next up is I am having problems locating your sub division.
We have Desert Shadows,Frontier Valley, Golden Valley Rancho's, Havasu Terrace, Joshua Heights, Lake Havasu EST, Pioneer Valley, Stage Coach Trails, Yucca Town Site in the area.
Stagecoach Trails is the largest along Alamo Lake Road.
So far no Santa Fe Ranch located near Yucca. could the name have changed or is it my resource material?
Santa Fe Ranch exit is MP 20 on I-40 so maybe its there but just not listed. I have a friend who is in that area and is off the grid solar power. Not sure if he has a well or hauls it in. Most out there seem to haul water.
As for a surveyor there are 10 listed in the phone book. But I have not had the need to have to use one so I am not sure who I would recomend.

I just remember something: Exit 20 on I-40 used to be 'Gem Acres Road' then was renamed about 8 years ago to Santa Fe something.

The full name is Stagecoach Trails at Santa Fe Ranch. The property owners association has a very good website with tons of information on it.

There's also a list of the current board of directors along with their contact info. I'm sure any one of them could answer all your questions and be more than glad to help out. I'm envious. That's a really awesome area.

If you are still out there, I also own off of Alamo Rd within Stagecoach Trails. Depending on where you are located, the well could run over 20K. Mine hit at 360ft and cost 7500 with another 2k for the pump. For surveyors, Mohave Engineering did the original survey and I had them do mine. Tried to have them do another in the Yucca township and they turned it down. Ended up hiring CSNA in Kingman and had no problems. I'm new on this site, but if you have any questions I can help. I am very active within the association and around Yucca.

That's awesome, Sonave. You scored big time. It's paradise out there. Are you planning on living there full time?

Probably not for another 5 years. Instead I will be moving into the Yucca township first doing an owner-builder build on one half of a double lot I purchased. Hopefully I will be submitting the paperwork for the permits in the next 2 weeks and move out there shortly in my 5th Wheel. This will allow me a reasonable commute to work in Kingman and put me within 25 mile of my acreage in Stagecoach Trails where I can work more on setting up a solar/wind system and learn from doing my first and possibly 2 builds in Yucca before tackling my dream home in Stagecoach Trails. I definitely agree with about it being paradise Kdog. I initially was going to buy the $545/acre (the cheapest they had at the time) until I drove out there for the first time. Ended up coming out a second time so I could get something closer to Alamo Rd. where its thick with Junipers and Joshuas.

I am new with this site so bear with me. I contacted a surveyor. They were going to send me a pkg for splitting the property and presenting all to the county. They never mailed it even after a 2nd call. But they did tell me in their past experience that an owner requesting to split was required to put a well on the property or maybe a well on each parcel. That is absurd. We want to split the property and then in approx 3 yrs move there and build a house on one parcel What would I need a well there for before I am ready to build? HAve you heard this rumor? I am still interested in splitting and getting anxious to move & start building. Has anyone heard if there has been any zone changes for commercial on Alamo Road-(rumor)? Our parcel is Alamo Rd, Rialito and Knox area. I sure hope the well doesnt run over $7500, property values have plummeted. My dream home may be out the window.

Well Rialto is about 6 miles down Alamo Lake Road don't see Knox on my Topo program.
Alot of people out there haul there own water so why a requirment for a well? Have you contacted Mohave county or gone to there website?
Ok went to there GIS site to locate your area. Now I know where Knox is located
