There's no reason for Nevada to be short on funds. They should be rolling in tax revenue from the casino and hotel industry alone. I know about that stretch of road from Hoover Dam through Boulder City. The traffic through there is awful ... especially trying to cross the dam, and then the stop & go traffic in Boulder City. There's no reason why a freeway or divided highway couldn't be built through there!

Regarding the Canamex route, there's still uncertainty about where the continuation of the highway will be past the Interstate 10/SR 85 junction. There would have to be a new stretch built north of there to continue it to US 60/93. The way ADOT pokes around, good luck in trying to get anything done with that!

How is that possible? I'm sure if I'm driving in Mexico I'd have to obey their laws?

Zonie5 is on a distinguished road
from what i have seenand read it will be a worthwhile project . a lot of detractors were not around before the interstate road system was built . believe you me that i was a pain in the neck . most highways were two lane built for horse and buggy days making them to drive on dangerous . the public nowadays are spoiled with good roads system . one good example might be the freeway system in Phoenix .if they did not have them then the traffic would be horrendous .
