wondering if you ever made that move to Yuma....we never heard back from you.....

ok, first off, PHX is not for everyone. really,no place on earth is for everyone. I found a few things to do up there but I like to do different things than the average Phoenician I guess, like the beach and riding in the mountains, etc... If you read my post you'd see I've lived in a lot of places so I've got some ideas about what my paradise should look like and Phx is not even close. Plus, 10 years is a long time to be in a place you didn't choose to live in (my dad's job), so it kinda gets to ya....
second, you haven't heard back (in this particular thread anyways) because no one replied to my thread till just today, my post was the last one.

There are some bars apparently. I just found out about a place that does Salsa dancing (across from Walmart on Pacific) and there a few places that do dancing (I hear their commercials). I have found plenty to do here. I also have been forced to go on a Gluten Free diet and have found a lot of stuff at the Fry's in the Foothills. There's also a Circle Health Foods store on 4th ave and 16th st but I haven't made it in there yet but heard great reviews!
I love yuma! I made a thread about how I like it here with that title too. lol..

hey, bikerchick.....glad it's working out for you.....you could've really given me hell for flaming you about your Phx opinions!.....I'd guess with the YPG, military, and dunes crowds, there are enough young people to keep it interesting....
sometimes you gotta make your own party

lol I'm tired of flaming and getting flamed, it gets old fast lol... yeah, yuma is surprisingly a good place to be. believe me I had some serious doubts. I knew everything bad about yuma and used to think like jaada about this place. But since I got here I realized that it's more about seeing the good in a place rather than letting the bad make you insane. Paradise will always be hell to most of the haters here. I don't really want ulcers and premature gray hair b/c I'm not in the place I want to live in.... and after I moved here I found a few more things to do in PHX lol.. dam it!

ughh, the fun factory is so DUMB with that line....only to find a handful of people inside. I think they try and make it feel like their's something special inside, so they create the line and do **** poor searches on people.....Even Miami clubs don't do lines like that dumb place....bad experience
I'm not digging Yuma so much, but waiting about 6 months before i make an assessment.

I think it's dumb that you can't have a few brews and then drive the go-carts.

Arizona is full of things to do.. pick up a AZ Highway mag and point to a random page. That is what we do.

I know, but most of the images in AZ Highways are desert or the Grand Canyon.
