Default Hey Arizona, why is it a good thing that McCain Never fought for earmarks for our state??? what makes us so undeserving?

Doesnt this mean he did nothing to get our state the extras he capable of obtaining, instead brags that he doesn't. Why is it a bad thing to get the state some extra federal funding for projects????? I just don't get it, it would seem me to that that makes him crap. It be like if I could get a bonus at work if I did my job extremely well, but decided to that my family didnt deserve it, so I refused the money and told my boss no thanks and bragged about it.

Here's McCains memory loss earmarks. McCain also complained about Gov Palins Alaska earmarks before selecting her for VP. The man has alzheimers, can't remember anything anymore.

it's not that we don't have an answer, it's just hard to read what you wrote. You might want to read it over and fix a few things.

I want to know why it is a good thing that our senator does not fight for federal earmarks that would help our state. Why is this a good thing for Arizona. An earmark is extra pork put into a bill that will help a bill pass by adding certain monetary value to the senators states projects. Why is it that Arizona does not deserve what over states reap.

I hope I was more clear

Not sure but I did read he opposed them on the bailout bill.

The bill was approved easily, 74-25, winning support even from lawmakers who have crusaded against earmarks - including Arizona Sen. John McCain, the Republican Party's presidential nominee, who warned last week that he might oppose a bailout bill if it included more pork-barrel spending.

It's not that McCain opposes Congress voting to spend money on AZ, it's that he is against the earmark system because of the corruption it produces.
