High rate of child molesters/abductors (Phoenix, Peoria: homes, rent, school)

While researching areas and zip codes in different parts of Arizona, I'm finding that many are extremely high in child molesters and particulary child abductors.
Anyone know about this ?

We checked Peoria and found fewer offenders in this area. We are in N. Peoria, 85383. The problem with some of these web sites is that it can take months for offenders new to an area to make the list. Watch your babies, especially in the stores.

No, not just in AZ. Happens all across the country. Recently we had a stalker breaking into homes and molesting kids, have not heard if they have caught him. I believe it was somewhere s.Phoenix area. We lived in a small N. CA mountain town and we thought by taking our young kids there to raise they would be safer. We were shocked by the number of preditors living up there. Crime has no address, so they say.

I'm amazed at the amount of predators in almost every zip code I"ve checked. But disturbed by the high amts in Az.
The home invasion thing is scary too - here in the east, at least they wait until you leave to rob you.

I swear when I have children I'm always going to keep my eyes on them. I see small children running around and think how easy it is for someone to just grab them. This is a LARGE city where things happen more than other places.

Actually I've always said that I wouldn't raise children here. So, I need to find somewhere else to live. I also always said that I would prefer to homeschool than said them to public school in AZ.

I'm not sure about where you live in the east, but there have been a rash of home invasions in NY & CT too.

I think i'm agreeing with the fact that crime really has no address, there are crazies all over the place.

I live in PA and yes, there are crazies everywhere.

Sablebaby you are so right. Just keep your eye on them at all times. We still follow our 18 yr old around. We moved to a little mountain town thinking we were out of the fire. Our son was only 4 at the time. Just two blocks away a 5 year old went missing. We had search and rescue people sleeping in our living room as our home was right against the forest. They found him 4 years later and there had been a child molester living on his street that they were unaware of at the time. They move and don't always register. I hope in my lifetime we see firmer laws against these crimes and we see meaner judges on the bench. I can't believe how lax they are in VT. They slap them on the wrist for hurting 3 year olds and turn them out on the street. In our former town we were warned by the Sheriff at the time that we had one of the worst offenders CA had seen in decades living 2 miles from us. They called him the duct tape rapist and he had tortured over 300 young teenage boys in the central valley. He was out and had found Jesus. You just never know who your neighbors are. It is not just AZ it is all states.

I think the high rate for crime here in AZ in general is the constant flow of illegals coming here. I've heard that Mexico lets go of its worst criminals to come here. Watch the news and see if I'm not right. Home invasions, rape, murder, molestors, etc.....mostly Mexican.
