depending on price,water and such, up to 40+....i will be driving down from mn and will be spending several days in the general area. if i find something i like i will talk it over with my wife and we can go from there. you can only learn so much off the internet, then you have to get in a car and do some drivin. if you have something you think i might be interested feel free to pm me, then i can give you my email and we can go from there. i would like to learn as much about the area as posible. i usually dont get home till late so anyone who replys to this might not get one back till later or even the next day. thanks

Heck I might consider living up there, some friends of mine used to. Ive been there a few times and probably the only issue would be finding steady work. Sure beats this furnace though, and winter snow is just my liking!

I lived in Snowflake for a while and one of my sons was born in Show Low! We LOVED the area, but circumstances didn't allow us to stay . Beautiful area, wonderful people I can't think of anything negative to say about it!

thanks everone for the imput so far, gonna check out western new mexico too, since i will be going through that area.we have had one heck of a hot summer up here this year, but the humidity is a killer in these parts

I have a small place closing escrow the middle of Nov in Show Low. Where can I go that's safe to meet other retired people for friendship?

Car shows are big, and there are alot of gated communities.

Ive been there a few times over the years and loved it. Up until awhile back, had some friends that lived there. Work might be an issue, one may have to commute, but for the most part, almost thought of moving there or to Flagstaff, before I came back to Calif.
