vikki streu is on a distinguished road
Wink Which school districts would be recommended?

My Husband and I are thinking of relocating from Michigan and Arizona is one of the states we are considering. Glendale and Catalina Foothill school districts are having job fairs in the near future, and I need more information in order to make a decision.
Does anyone have any information about these school district such as student population, facilities, violence, administration etc. OR Can you recommend a good district to teach in?
My husband has a degree in Industrial design but is working at home depot atthe moment. How is the Job market out there?
Climate? Is it as unbearably hot and dry as we are lead to believe? The cold here is getting to us and we would like a slightly milder climate without the oppressive humidity.

Other states we are considering are Northern Cali ($$$$$), North
Carolina,Wyoming(?). Anybody have any recommendations?

We are extremely HOT here. We have a bit of humidity during July-Aug due to our Monsoon season (usually 40-50%). We are not a "slightly milder climate" as compared to Michigan. California would be considered that! I think the other states you mentioned would be better for you. A milder climate would put you somewhere up in northern AZ, even prescott would be better than Phx or Tucson. However, the jobs would be difficult to get.

The job market is really good out here. Not sure about industrial design though.
