pv native is on a distinguished road
I was born in Prescott and have lived in Prescott valley for the last 32 yrs. Over the years there has been nothing but CALIFORNIANS moving in here, bringing their nasty attitudes and habbits to ruin Prescott Valley. Prescott valley is a great town and so are the natives that have lived here. The only thing that SUCKS is people like you who come into this town bringing your NASTY attitudes and rudeness expecting it to be like and try to change it to become like their own town. The only thing NASTY about this town and the people who live here are the TRANSPLANTS like your self. I'm so glad you took it upon your self to REMOVE your family and your NASTY attitude from our great town. If anyone else agrees that Prescott Valley SUCKS then GO BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM!! The less of you that are here the better off everyone will be. Maybe this town will get back to the way it used to be with kind people helping out strangers. Stop trying to change everything to suit YOUR wants and needs. If something doesn't go YOUR way you don't have to cry about it!! Maybe thats why your neighbors never even sopke to you for the whole year you lived here. People do sense evil..

Wrong, PV Native....I am not a transplant. I lived in PV years ago and left for the same reasons I left this time: NASTY, RUDE, JUDGMENTAL, IGNORANT people, ESPECIALLY seniors. Think before you type, don't assume. My three daughters were born in Prescott, back BEFORE the California "invasion" and PV was as rude back then as it is now, just with less people.

If you don't like the truth, too bad. Prescott Valley is NOT a nice place to live...unless you are a rich senior.

If Prescott Valley was so bad the first time why did you even come back?
We could go back and forth about this all day long. Prescott Valley used to be a nice little town before the NASTY, RUDE, JUDGEMENTAL, INGORANT TRANSPLANTS moved in here. You used to be able to go next door and borrow a cup of sugar and leave your front door unlocked when you went to the store. Or allow your kids to stay home alone after school. But all that has changed because of the CRAP that has moved here. But for you to attack the seniors... our grandpartents...that has to be the most JUDGEMENTAL of all. You say everyone here is NASTY, RUDE, JUDGEMENTAL AND IGNORANT, why don't you take a look in the mirror and see what that is. All you have to do is be a little nice to people and they will be nice back. Even Seniors. I haven't met one that's been NASTY for NO REASON yet. All I'm saying is people give you back what you give them. If your RUDE and NASTY... they will be RUDE and NASTY back. I have neighbors that move in and out and I have introduced myself to everyone of them and they talk to me almost daily. I don't know what your big problem is.

I live in Chino Valley, not Prescott Valley, but I know a lot of folks in PV and they are kind and nice people. You can find great people and not-so-great people anywhere you look. I personally would not want to live in PV but not due to the people, it's just too crowded and "commercial". Prescott is another story altogether, totally different culture from PV, many retirees and higher cost of living. As for the libraries...odd complaint. I have found every library I've gone into with my grandkids to be very friendly and helpful...so... who knows what your experience stemmed from? As for me...I prefer Chino Valley to all of them

Wrong again, PV Native. I am always nice first. My husband went on our street and introduced himself to our neighbors in a very friendly way. We waved at them and smiled whenever we saw them but they just frowned back. I always treat people nicely because as my Grandma used to say, "You can win more flies with honey than with vinegar." No matter how nice and friendly I was, I was met with frowns, grumpiness, bad attitudes and the seniors were the ones that did it to us the most.

We moved back because my husband got a job that was supposed to be a good job but like so many things in that area, it turned out to be a real bad deal. The doctor he worked for has had so many personal problems; she had been through three office managers in two years and purposely advertised in other cities because word in the area was not to work for her. Her bad reputation as an employer was only known locally and we didn't know anyone to ask beforehand.

I am an Army Brat and have lived all over the world and I have never found people to be as rude on a regular basis as they were in PV. We are STILL friendly as always, we just moved back to Flagstaff because it matches OUR friendliness. Prescott Valley was NOT that town. As another poster said, Chino Valley is better, we went there a lot and the people there ARE friendlier by far. In the stores, restaurants, gas stations, everywhere we went, Chino Valley was friendlier. We gave friendliness and got friendliness in return in Chino Valley. The contrast was so great that we would have moved to Chino had the job with Dr. "crazy" worked out.

Obviously, your experience differs from mine.
