Advice Please (apartment, credit, job openings)

Hello everyone,
I am getting ready to graduate with my BA in Political Science from a University in Florida. I am currently looking for a change of location and am looking for jobs in teaching. I would like to teach a high school government class and coach volleyball. I am aware of the Florida requirements to become a teacher but I am unaware of any other state's requirements. Can anyone help me with state requirements? Job openings? housing/apartment rates?I would like to experience seasons, somewhere not to cold yet not to warm either. I would like to live in a city that has a lot to do, I do not like to be bored. I am looking forward to a change from florida and I am looking forward to any help and advice you can give me. You would need at least a post bac in education, specializing in a subject. One school in particular, Ottawa University requires about 36 credits. Then pass the state exam for your teaching certificate. I would google it and see what the exact requirements are. But you definitely have to go back to school. You can also find the school districts online and see what their openings look like, however, it will take about a year and a half or two years to complete your requirements.
