Default Ariz. jogger, fox latched onto arm, runs for help

PRESCOTT - With a fox locked onto her arm, an Arizona jogger ran a mile to her car, where she was able to dislodge the animal, throw it into the trunk and drive to a Prescott hospital.

The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office says the fox, which later attacked an animal control officer, tested positive for rabies.

Michelle Felicetta told deputies she was on a trail Monday at the base of Granite Mountain when the fox attacked, biting her foot. The woman said she grabbed it by the neck when it went for her leg and it latched onto her arm

I thought you were going to say it tested positive for Rabies. How sad!!! WE have many fox or is it foxes? around our land and they, normally, are pretty shy..

The Fox did test positive for Rabies.

She, and the Animal Control Officer bitten by this Fox, are now undergoing the Rabies vaccine treatments

Yeah, I remember this incident (I live in Prescott Valley, just 8 miles from Prescott). Everybody was talking about it everywhere.

But I don't know the outcome. Is she okay these days? And what did they do with the fox after?

Default Rabies Test

The test for rabies is from the dead animals brain tissue. The fox didn't live long after they finally got under control.
