Question Moving To Arizona-advice Please!

i am a girl who is starting college soon and i have been exepted into university of arizona. if i go, it will mean the start of a lot. first off

please tell me, if you know, if university of arizona is a good school and also what kind of neighborhood is tucson?

after college i really want to move into kingman, arizona. every since i was 14 i fell in love with route 66, i dont know how. my father bought me a coupe de ville and now all i want is to hit the road and ride route 66 for all it's worth. i hate the city. trust me those who live in arizona and all they want is city life; it doesnt get to pretty. yes the shopping is great but if you're like me, who is not as rich as eveyrbody else, its tough. and the crime rates are high in most areas. i feel scared walking the streets.

i really like kingman, after i realized it was on route 66 and researched it i realized its a small little town, not surrounded by many shops, yet not too far off from phoenix or las vegas. I would LOVE to hear more. like; what's the gas prices (im planning to drive my jeep wrangler to arizona) and the house costs and what jobs are available. salary wise as well??

please post the cons and pro's of kingman (its ok be as brutal as you want =), i would very much appreciate it. thank youu all in advance

Umm, that would be accepted into the U of A.
My Daughter goes to U of A, the area around campus is not the nicest, esp for a young lady. Not as bad as some areas I have seen, but not the best. U of A seems ok, daughter is happy, son will go there next year. My opinion, NAU is the best.
Kingman-- My folks moved there to be near my sisters and their kids, which meant I spent a lot of time there visiting. Nice enough town. I never cared for all the wind. It NEVER stops!
If you like Rt 66, then that is a good town. I took my car on the annual 66 run a few years ago, had a blast.
Kingman is growing fast, so is all of Az
