I don't know whether you'd be able to find a job within commutable distance (you'd need to commute to Sonoita or possibly South Tuscon), but I just thought of a FABULOUS small town. Totally fun, liberal, well-educated group of people slightly outside the fray and outside mainstream (but not wacky). Patagonia. It's slightly cooler, slightly greener, and not too far from Tucson. It is a GREAT little town. We own some land there, and plan to build a weekend home there at some point.
If you're looking for fun, funky, outdoorsy town...this has it all!! |
