Agree. Camp Verde's location in the dead center of the state could be a good fit, just minutes from the I-17 on/off ramp. Average rents for a tract house are really affordable here. "Investors" are stuck with homes they can't sell and desperately need to rent (and we have all the bank-owned homes for rent too). There is a good inventory available as well (many not listed with agencies). Find a rental off Salt Mine Road or the Quarterhorse area that's affordable, and you'll have glorious peace and quiet. From Camp Verde you can be in all the places that matter here: Prescott/Prescott Valley, Flagstaff, Sedona, Cottonwood, and Jerome in a relatively short time. Just remember: Sleep and eat in Camp Verde, spend your quality time out and about elsewhere. Trust me, I know.

Youi might check out Williams as an alternative~ smaller community~ closer ta where you work. Don't know local issues!
