Default Is there a small town in AZ that hasn't

been infiltrated by liberals, new agers, and/or people from California?

I'm think about moving to AZ, but don't want to live in any of the big cities.

Thought about Bisbee, but that's a bit to retro-hippie.

Prescott and Flagstaff are too expensive.

Any ideas, or is my dream of moving to a simple, small town in AZ unrealistic?

I'd suggest Kingman, but I'm not sure I'd want you for a neighbor.

I agree with kdog. My suggestion for your biased comments would be this place. You could probably control your destiny there. And live happily ever after.Christmas - Arizona Ghost Town

Yes there is such a place. Sierra Vista. Not a haven for "liberals" or "rednecks" either. As I've posted under Arizona towns, we are a community that relies upon a military intelligence base. Please review my post under that topic.
And no, we are not gun-ho war advocates down here, nor your typical military base town full of drunk pfc's. Most military personnel here are nco's and officers with years of duty.
That said, if you've an interest in "militia" types, America love it or leave it attitude and want to scream your allegiance with a automatic rifle and combat fatigues, you'll stand out and be really lonely.

You'd probably be better off in Idaho.

Sorry, folks, just being honest. My views may be biased from your perspective, but most of the answers I got to a simple question were biased as well as nasty. I'm older, and a conservative (not a redneck, clinging to my guns and religion) and simply wanted to know. I have my answer. Thank you.

Which part of your conservative background and religious training taught you to hate people from California?

Some people believe that if you present some viewpoint honestly that this should somehow shield you from snarky remarks. I don't really understand that.

Anyway, what exactly were you expecting? Perhaps more importantly, why do you care if your neighbor is some new age crystal worshiping nutter who foolishly thinks some shiny rock is going to ward off cancer? Does it matter if the people down the street voted for the black guy, or perhaps worse, moved here from California? I just don't understand how it should. Especially if a Californian moved in from say, San Diego, or, ick, Bakersfield.

Forgive me, but I thought being a conservative meant minding your own business, more so than making sure to surround yourself with only the like minded.
