Default Breaking up parcels of vacant land for resale

I've got two one acre lots in Arizon Park Estates Two (between St John's and Sanders). I would like to legally separate them so I can sell one of (I'll probably hold the other lot as a long term investment). Does anyone know how I can go about doing this?

First you will need to check to make sure you have at least 2 acres (not 1.97) and then you will need to make sure it is zoned 1 acre min.or less. The next step after that is to get it surveyed and the surveyer will help you with the rest.

Thanks, I've got 2.04 acres and I'm in correspondance with Apache County planning people.

How much is a survey going to cost? I have the surveyors map for the whole area with both plots indicated - do I really have to get it surveyed again?

If the property has already been surveyed and you have a separate parcel number for it then you should be able to sell it without a problem.I want to warn you that now is not the best time to sell but maybe you will get lucky.
