Default Tuba,AZ

I have been offered a job in Tuba. What is the housing situation there. Are there houses for sale or do I have to look outside Tuba?

There is no Tuba, AZ, so perhaps you mean Tuba City, AZ. It's the largest city (and I use that term loosely) on the Navajo Indian reservation. The online real estate sites come up with zero listings for Tuba City, nor do they even list any Realtors there (which is a very rare phenomenon). Tuba City is not within a reasonable commute of anywhere, so you'd probably want to live there. Being on the reservation, I don't think you can buy property there. You could probably buy a mobile and park it in a trailer park. What you really need to do is visit Tuba City and look around and talk to folks.

Just out of curiousity, what kind of job were you offered? My guess would be some sort of Indian relations or teaching postion. However, I'd be surprised if those positions didn't already come with lodging.
