Because if you click the various links on that page it answers nearly all the questions that are posted over and over.
Re-title it, delete these replies and make it a sticky would be better yet.

I'm always paranoid anytime I pass a light toward the end of yellow. Is there some kind of signal if you have your photo taken? A flash or something?

Once that obnoxious flash is in your face you will know if you got a ticket or not.

Not neccisarrily, the flash could be for someone else. I have had that stupid thing flash right in my eyes when some idiot was going over the speed limit (I was going 55, the speed limit on the 51). One of these days those camera flashes is going to cause an accedent because of some one being blinded in the middle of the night by one of those things.

And how is this one? I had to switch lanes to get to the far left to get on the expressway. I could not slow down because there was a line of cars behind the one adjacent to me. I got a ticket for going 56 in a 45. GUILTY!! You bet. I tried to explain my way out of the radar ticket, but was rewarded with an order to appear and give oral arguments. Anybody have to give and oral argument? I need some input.
UGH!!

Were you going 56 in a 45?
Love it or hate it, it's your responsibility to get to the other lane within the letter of the law. There's no reason you "couldn't slow down" only that you didn't want to slow down. Sucks I know but not much of an argument is going to get you out of this.
