oh and I don't know what you do for the state of TN, but do NOT work for the state of AZ!!! I worked there for the last 3 years and it is HELL! Plus there are severe budget cuts happening and you won't be able to get hired there anyways right now. But seriously, you will be wishing you never moved here if you work for them. You'll do better working for the county or a city or private company.

I wouldn't mind moving back to the midwest. Of course I need to move to a place where there are teaching jobs and there aren't many back that way. Most schools in the midwest get like hundreds of applications per position. I would love to live in a place with cleaner air of course. I heard they still use DDT in Mexico and it is still sold illegaly in some of the flea markets here. I am beginning to think that is what is making the air so bad here.

Sorry I know this is not part of the subject matter, but due to comments made OMG now I'm scared. I am moving from Massachusetts to get away from the liberals. Reading the comments on Bisbee and Tombstone and being familiar with them I thought they were more libertarian which is fine with me. I am moving to Arizona to get away from having the government in my business and pocket and hoping I am correct about Arizona.

I would think that once you are above 3,000' or so that year round swimming would be chilly in the winter.
