Default Community Colleges

Hello!

Sorry if a thread like this has already been created, but I am very interested in Moving to Arizona for school next year. I am looking for a community college with housing. Anyone know of any good schools in Phoenix that are pretty reasonably priced? I am somewhat interested in Arizona Western in Yuma.

Thank you.

There are some good community colleges in the Phoenix area. What will you be taking? Here is a link to the community colleges in the Phoenix area. I worked and went to school at Gateway and Paradise they were really good nice teachers, small class sizes, friendly on the wallet.

Maricopa Community Colleges

The ones in Phoenix are good, but they do not have housing on campus. I've known folks who went to Az Western years ago.... Eastern AZ in Thatcher would be a bit more isolated.

Probably the smartest thing ever done, education-wise, was having the community college system in Arizona (well, at least in Pima and Maricopa counties) be an alternative route to the state's big three colleges instead of going to ASU, UA or NAU right out of high school.

Or maybe its just nice to see everything standardized/streamlined, having witnessed firsthand the nightmare that is the Orange/LA county community college systems and their transfer system (or lack thereof) into the universities there.
