Fascism:
a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.

Since this a single state idea, i doubt it's a fascist idea. DPS has been doing this for years and randomly picks highways from Mexico.

If mass murders and drug deals were done on a daily basis, south of the border, you would not try to do something within your power to help against it coming into your own country?

A German i worked with got the ring around when he was trying to pass through the border from Mexico to USA, it's not only Mexicans and Hispanics having trouble at the border. It's not fascist because it targets all drivers.

You do make some valid points. However I hope you realize they are going to expand this program to ALL the borders. The Canadian border AND the coasts.

For the record: I had some problems re-entering the USA from Tijuana back in 1980------------and, I was 100% clean.

Big deal: LE was simply doing its job.

And especially today: the reality is that Mexico is showing many of the classic symptoms of a collapsing nation so securing our southern border is of paramount importance.
