Glade you found one of the gems out there. The cheapest way to receive internet would probably be through satellite, unless there are public services in your area.
As far as buying groceries are you talking about safeway to small grocer prices or walmart prices?

Due to the large mix of mormons and reservation land that area has, no one is out there. There is seriously nothing major like a walmart until you go to show low or safeway if you go to holbrook. I don't remember if there is a super walmart out there or not. When i went out to st johns a couple years ago, its either retired or people living off of social security because the town is strange. You first enter it and some air park is on th left and some random grocery store. Then you drive further and its split into two ways. One way goes past an entire business strip, like show low has, but abandoned. You take the right split, and there is nothing but houses and an eree feeling about the area.
All the people i've delt with out there are cattle farmers or old people.
If everything plays out right, i'll be retiring in that area.
