Default Bridge Canyon Country Estates

I have recently purchased a lot on N. Shadow Mountain Parkway in Bridge Canyon Country Estates. The lot is between W. Charro Rd. and Grieta Ln. Does anyone have any information about the area that would be of value to me? There is a pond just N/W of the property. Does anyone have any info about it?

I'll tell you how this happens. It happens because I'm looking for information about the area my property is in.

Think so, huh? Take a look at my posting history. I've entered hundreds of informative and helpful posts about Arizona and many other topics all over City Data. What have you done here?

I asked you a simple question and basically got flipped off by you. You have told us absolutely nothing about yourself, so why should anybody bother with you at all? Good luck with that attitude, you're going to need it.

Part of the problem is that I've lived in this state over 50 years, and from the information you gave, I have NO IDEA where this property is. And, frankly, I'm curious as to how people decide to buy a piece of property they have not seen in person, while having little or no information about the area it's in.

If you do a search here on "Bridge Canyon Country Estates" (I did, now I at least know where it is) you will find other threads to give you info.

Trust me, kdog is not here just to antagonize.

No need to be quite so testy. From your initial post, there was no way to know that you had searched this forum, or that you were familiar with the property. You might want to private message the folks on those other threads who live there, they would be your best sources for specific information/questions beyond what's in those threads. They will get a notice in their email that they have a message here, so they don't have to be on the site to get it. Hope you find the information you are looking for.

So maybe we can start again here. What kind of information would you like? Then maybe people can provide specific answers instead of guessing what it is that you know and don't know. I live fairly nearby and could even do some research of the area for you, as I've done with numerous other folks on this forum.

Default Looking for info re Bridge Canyon Estates

We have been to Bridge Canyon 6 times now looking at property with the intent to educate ourselves of the lay of the land and to gain informaiton regarding the area and buying a piece of property(vacant land or improved) to live on after we retire, in about 4 years. We are already starting to feel a bit like locals.
We have eaten at the local restaurants. Talked to the realestate people.
Driven in from Kingman and from Williams to determine how long it takes and learning where things like hospitals, lumber yards, grocery stores, etc. are located.
We are monitoring the weather via the internet for the area.
We have looked over and over the county web site.
I have a question. Is there somewhere available a set of maps for Bridge Canyon I can obtain?
I understand that most people use the water containers. Does anyone know where the water table is or how to find out??
Thanks in advance for any information,

Forgive me for opening a new thread, but with all the combined experience with Bridge Canyon represented on this forum, I want to ask a serious question: Has anyone else seen Bigfoot around Bridge Canyon/Seligman? This isn't a joke, and I'm totally serious. My son and I have had two experiences, both about a year and a half ago. Wasn't scary, wasn't weird, it just was. Ok, let the ridiculing begin. Thanks, MackB
