Skinhead gangs in Az (Phoenix: crime, gated, law)

Are skinhead gangs a big problem in Arizona? I saw tv program about a police officer that went undercover for 10 years in a Phoenix skinhead gang. I have heard from several people that Arizona has most skinheads in the nation. I am curious why this is the case?

Hispanic gangs like the Mexican Mafia and MS-13 are the biggest problem in Arizona, especially in Phoenix which is considered the kidnapping capital of the United States.

The kidnapping involves those who are IN the drug or illegal alien trade, on both sides. The average citizen is under no particular risk here.

Exactly, when a drop house is found, all of the people there are reported as kidnapped, and there can be 10-50 people in a single house.

I feel perfectly safe traveling to Mexico and living in Phoenix.

MS-13 is the most powerful and intimidating gang in the country and Phoenix. There are skinheads everywhere but even skinheads keep a low profile in Arizona because they are aware they will be sought and killed by MS-13 if they make themselves public.

According to this website, the state with the most skinheads is New Jersey followed by Texas. Arizona wasnt mentioned among the 7 states with the highest number of skin heads

Unlike the skinheads, MS-13 is not some stupid gang that just randomly assaults someone and runs away. MS-13 is a powerful organized unit that makes a lot of money. People assume because they are Hispanic that they are some dumb Latino gang that just hangs out. Unlike the Skinheads, their goal isn't to attract attention but rather to help facilitate the drug and human smuggling trade, earn money and acquire more members. If they feel other gangs pose a threat to their territory or make life difficult for their members, like the Skinheads, they will kill them and will not fear police involvement. This is the most powerful gang in the country and it's a real threat. The Skinheads are politically motivated and MS-13 is financially motivated. That's a huge difference. I would genuinely be terrified if MS-13 wanted to make a statement and seek attention because they are far bigger in number and are more organized. Thankfully, that's not their goal.

Flip side: if MS-13 did try to make a 'statement'............they would be taken down quite quickly---------too many good guys here in Az pack heat unlike 'liberal' Calif or NY, etc.

Rule of thumb: if making $$$ illegally; one needs to be a bit discreet for obvious reasons. Greed will backfire.
