Default Best schools, neighborhoods and towns in AZ?

What middle schools are the best for Gilbert, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Goodyear And Chandler Arizona? Any other areas good for schools? I do banking/construction/loan officer. Any hope of getting a job? Can I get a safe neighborhood, excellent public schools and a job anywhere in the area? I want to get out of the rain! Home prices under $225k what does electricity cost for a 2000 sq ft house? any better areas to look at?

Have you done any searching and looked at threads on these subjects that are already here???? You are asking incredibly broad questions, and lots of them. '

I suspect pickings are slim in your job field right now. VERY depressed construction industry here. You might find a house, neighborhood and school to fit your needs, but the job would be the hard part.

Best place to live. (IMHO) Scottsdale, however just a little pricy. But because of the economy is so s**** you might get a good buy on a house. Right now it's a buyer market.

Best Schools: N. Scottsdale

Out of the rain? Seattle? There are a couple of homes in my area that are getting foreclosed on and you might get the house pretty cheap. It's in North Scottsdale around the Phoenix Coyotes Ice Den just off of east Bell. Just east of the Ice Den is Bank of America, just right down the stree from the foreclosure. Imagine that! I would check with a Realtor and ask him to check for forclosures in the 85255 area.

However, just northside of e. Bell are all Million dollar homes all the way up to Cave Creek. If you like golf, you have come to the right palce and there are some of the finest golf courses just north of e. Bell as well.

If you need help, just PM me and I will hook you up with a Realtor who is a buyer agent. No, I don't make any commission on the sale. He helped us with our house and he did such a good job, I like to send people his way.

Default broad questions

I am not that concerned about getting a job in the same field. It would be nice but I am very aware that the lending market, let alone construction is WAY down. I was hoping by asking the questions all in one thread, that I would have different responses by different people. Obviously not everyone would have all the answers. And yes, I have looked at blogs regarding similiar issues, but they get dated, etc. Also, I allow direct messages so that is an additional reason.

BTW Thank you Head Coach for the info!

There's lots of fairly current threads discussing every suburb in the Valley.

North Scottsdale is fine, but for me, I'd want to be closer in.

South Tempe and west Chandler also have very good schools. I'm not familiar with Paradise Valley School District or whichever district serves Goodyear, but I would expect them to be fairly good.

As I've said before, the job will be the kicker. That will help you determine where to live, as commuting all the way across the Valley really makes no sense if you can find a neighborhood and school district closer that meets your needs.
