Default The high altitude in heber Az

I am getting ready to visit my boyfriend, who is working on a wind turbine project near snowflake. He is staying in Heber. What I want to know is this: I had planned to bring my little dog along with me for this visit. ( I am traveling by car) Will the high altitude of the area I mention, be harmful to him? I know it is about 6000 ft.

It might actually be a little higher than that, but the dog will be fine.

If your dog cant handle 6000 ft elevation....it might be time to get a new dog....a REAL dog.

bring them - we take our dogs to our friends cabin all the time and it's in the higher altitudes - just keep them hydrated like you would any where else

also keep in mind that temperatures can be colder than what you could typically expect in AZ

also, we will not go up without dog safe bug repellant again either
