Lived In Canada For A Couple Years And Traveled To Seatlle Alot.it
Is Beautiful!!! Arizona Is Nice {5 Months Out Of The Year} But Its Too Hot,not Too Much Of A "life Style" And Nothing But Dirt To Look At Unless You Drive North....can`t Do That Everyday.and Up North You Can Actually Walk Around Town And Its Not Frowned Upon

If you want something close to Paradise, then you would like Colorado, Utah Wyoming or Montana.
Texas, the south and east coast states suck. I know more people who have moved there, then back again.

And I know ten times your "more" of people who left New England for AZ, FL or CA intoxicated by the thought of living with "palm trees" and no snow, only to move back with a new appreciation of what they gave up when they left for those 3 overrated states - CA must have been nice 100 years ago, but not now.. FL is nice for maybe two weeks max at a time - AZ for a winter vacation maybe (NOT Phoenix!) ~~PS Paradise is Wyoming? BWAHH! You haven't been seen much of that state apparently. Now if you'll excuse me, I am off work today on a paid "personal" day (do AZ companies give you those??) and I must get ready to head to the beach on my motorcycle to enjoy this glorious summer weather...

Let the population statistics speak for themselves. AZ might be growing, but it will never rival Texas' population, or NYs, etc.

Have already considered the question and moved from Phoenix. To Albuquerque. Love it here. Like Phoenix 30 yrs ago, but with a nicer, more forgiving climate. Smaller city, less traffic, good air, prospering, friendly people, laid back and tolerant. And still with the all the allures of the Southwest. Don't have to go back East or Midwest if you still like the desert and sun.

Home is where the heart is.

I am a Wash DC boy, born and raised, left there for Calif then Az in 1978 and have never returned to DC even for a visit.

My spiritual home town would be Van Nuys (district of the City of Los Angeles) in Calif

DITTO!

Although; believe it or not, Clark County Nv outside of Las Vegas gets honorable mention.

Boulder City is very pretty-------looks a lot like Pasadena and no gambling allowed there. All you need to do if you do gamble is walk 50 feet out the BC city limits and there is a casino.

Another community I actually like is Searchlight; middle of nowhere but has a neat vibe.

Dave, you are hurting me with these cams! I want to go back to MA so bad I could cry looking at it. Kicking back, eating a Lobster roll, watching the sail boats in Cape Cod! AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, real fried clams, ChoWDER, THE SMELL OF SALT AIR, BEAUTIFUL ROSES ON THE SIDE OF COLONIALS, GAMBREL, SALTBOXES, CAPES AND VICTORIAN HOUSES. OUTDOOR SHOWERS, FESTIVALS FOR EVERY THING YOU CAN THINK OF, LAVENDER, CRANBERRY BOGGS. LOUD, FUN, PEOPLE, SMALL PUBS, LIVE MUSIC,(WITH CRAB FRITTER IN HAND). I could go on and on but I'm afraid I will pass out. OH, FALL, COLOR, THE SMELL OF A FALL DAY! I am trying to gain control of myself. Loved your cams, the earlier one with the sound of my beach I now have playing constantly on my office computer while I work. MARTHA'S VINEYARD! Ok, ok, better go. Maybe I'll crack a can of clam chowder from cambells chucky soup and turn on the web cam.
Here is one of my fav. web sites when I miss the Cape, I visit it and my old family photos at least once a week. Cape Cod Photo Album

Sorry~~ Really, I am..

Just went to Revere Beach on the motorcycle at lunch - 90f out, stiff southwesterly wind, the smell of fried clams and burgers mingled with the salt air and the suntan oil the brazilian chickies are slathered with.. hated to come back to work - booze cruise tonight on the ProvincetownII out of Boston with a band AND dj on dif floors - should be a horrible night
