You have a point. Montana's cold is more dry. It feels warmer than the actual temperature.

As a single mother, I will eventually get kicked out of Scottsdale with the way the prices of rent is going

I would like to live in Dallas, TX where there are significant jobs in my field and better wages.

My other place is Wichita, KS where my relatives stay and school systems are incredible.

Inexpensive housing
An actual skyline (for being the 5th biggest city in the US, we have a pathetic skyline)
Stronger job growth
A large business/ finance sector

Someday I may leave Phoenix and Dallas is definetly in my #1 spot for relocation.

I drove through Dallas on my way to NC a couple of months ago and from what I saw of it I wouldn't mind living there myself except I don't like those kinds of storms Dallas gets. It looked like an exciting place though.

In a perfect world I would move to San Diego.

More realistic is moving back to my home state of Connecticut. Can't beat 1.5 hours to Boston, 2 hours to NYC, and nice smaler cities like Hartford, New Haven, and Providence all within 1 hour.....

Oh yeah, most of it all reached by train and no car!

Denver, Colorado. Real mountains, a refreshing cool/cold climate, more things to do, better neighborhoods, more outdoor recreation opportunities within the city itself, the list goes on and on... I'll probably be moving back there on my own free will anyway... you won't have to forcibly kick me out of AZ. Although, while I'm here, I'm trying to enjoy it as much as I can and not complain. After all, both Denver and Phoenix (and LA, SLC, ABQ, LV) are in the same super-region of the country; when people trash Phoenix, they're implicitly trashing other western cities as well, which have most of the same characteristics. And I happen to think the whole American West is an amazing part of the world.

I am leaving for Boston in two weeks. I am going to live with my friend in the North End. Going to be working downtown, so it is a perfect location. Selling my car once I get out there.

I have been in Arizona for two years I can't wait to get back to the East Coast. This summer is going to be amazing!
