If I could it would be in New England somewhere. New Hampshire or Massachusetts. I know the winters are bad, but that is just like our summers. I just love seafood and the New England coast line, Cape Cod summers are worth a whole winter of cold!
Nice old homes although our history of Indians in AZ is really older than the pilgrims, let's not forget who really lived in America first! Wasn't a Yankee.lol But I have to admit, I have lived here all my life and could use a change. A white Christmas, a halloween your not sweating through.

We had a really white Christmas this year. We also had a white Easter. We almost had a white Memorial Day. Missed by about 2 weeks.
At halloween, all the trick o' treaters look like Eskimos, no matter what they are dressed in. They all have parkas and gloves on to keep from freezing.

Anywhere I can bicycle without a regular diet of inhaled diesel fumes, anywhere there aren't four big pickup trucks for every small car, anywhere with big/green/numerous trees, anywhere with far fewer rocks spun off into windshields from open bed trucks hauling landscaping materials, anywhere with fewer RV's inching up inclines with long lines of pissed-off drivers anxious to pass, anywhere alcohol and cable TV aren't the major forms of entertainment, anywhere where it rains more, and anywhere there's more moisture in the air to help keep skin and hair looking healthier than that of the sun-damaged, cigarette smoking locals I see slipping in and out of their air-conditioned existences. Not sure it exists in the southwest anymore without moving into the middle of nowhere?

Someplace on the east coast, in 3yrs when my daughter finishes HS. Would like to see trees and water again. Winter seems easier for me to deal with than these summers, probably because I was raised in NY. You can always wear a coat but when it's 110 it's too damn hot even if you're naked.

Your so right I was born and raised in Texas San Antonio a city with so many charms. Yes we have high humitity but I tell you your skin well stay beautiful even when you dont put moisterizer on it. That is a plus. I lived in AZ and my skin cracked so bad I was not used to it, but I loved the mountains and the wonderful spritual feeling of the city. I really think that we can take so much from anywhere we live we see the beauty of each city. There are neg and postive anywhere we live. I just make the best of anywhere I am and thank God that we can be here to experience all this wonderul places.

Smile That's the spirit!

Sure, I can find things wrong with where I live, but I would probably find things wrong with any place. I, like you, feel that every community has both good and bad. We should enjoy the GOOD in every way that we can. Nothing is perfect...not even us!
