Looking for gay-friendly location in Arizona (Phoenix, Tucson: bankrupt, construction, middle school)

You used this argument before and I think it is a pure lie and incantation created by you to argue nonsensically. First off, most children preyed upon by pedophiles are in a straight orientation, men with little girls. I doubt, being in Stafford, that you've encountered a large gay population or have met several gays and lesbians that could in fact let you know that they weren't conditioned, raped, molested, or "recruited" be become gay. It is a natural disposition. Also, the cycle of molestation and rape doesn't lead one to be gay but can lead to a SMALL percentage of victims to be violent and to attack as they were as youths or to confusion and frustration. Therefore, a straight man will molest another not for sexual pleasure or to sooth a sexual desire, but to inflict the same brutality that he/she was subjected to. You don't become gay because you were preyed upon by an older person. Another very ridiculous statement.

Nope not a lie and I didnt make it up....I havent always lived in Safford (not Stafford) and i hail from California....many, many moons ago.

I know what I have seen and I know what i am talking about....you can call me a liar if you like, but it is the honest to God truth.

And why don't you establish a center in Flagstaff or NAU students who face an oppressive community of rednecks, Mormons, and others in Northern Arizona, and a City Council who refuses to pass a civil rights ordinance for gays?

As for a related liberal issue, it is terrible that nurses at Flagstaff Medical Center tried to Unionize and were unable to do so.

While Coconino County voted for Obama, Flagstaff is just not liberal on any issue, it's as simple as that!

And Tom Lane - you are correct - Arizona is a right to work state - always has been and always will be - and that is a good thing also.

I just have one thing to say about all this. I see these "gay friendly" posts in other state forums, and they always crack me up. Because not only do they seem to do nothing more than create controversy and ticked-off posts, but they are completely ridiculous in their own right.
I am hetero. I have no issue with gay people. What you choose to do in your own bedrooms and homes is of no consequence to me. What I don't care for is the fact that I am force-fed this "tolerance to Homosexuality" nonsense and told that I need to accept it and allow it and I have no right to complain about it for fear of being called a "gay basher" or a "homophobe".
ANY town can be gay tolerant- that's right...ANY town. Providing you don't go out parading your "gayness" like it's a badge of honor. Stick your rainbow stickers on your car and walk around with your boyfriends/girlfriends holding hands and making out in public and you're asking for people's attention! I don't advertise the fact I am straight--sure I date women and hold hands in public, but you don't see me sucking face with my gal pals when it isn't appropriate to do or distasteful. Why do (some) gay people feel the need to advertise what they are all the time, flaunt it in front of everyone, and bash those who disagree with their lifestyle?? This may sound cliche, but I have some acquaintances that are gay- but you would NEVER know it when you hung out with them (well, some of the gals are a bit rough-lol). They don't advertise what they are to the general public- but all their friends and acquaintances know what they are about. I have no issues weith people like that. And they can pretty much assimilate into any society and any town without raising red flags and being deemed as outcasts. It's the gays who are so outwardly gay that have issues with assimilating! There are places for people like that- San Francisco and Santa Monica Ca to name just a couple. (If you've been to either, you know what I am talking about).
So back to the OP, any place can be gay friendly if you want it to be-just don't FORCE people to accept it and get pissed when they don't!

Dont be afraid to continue to post things like this on this thread....ALL of the gays on here are very tolerant of others opninions and accepting of diverse opinions....they would NEVER refer to you as a bigot or insinuate that you are a closet homosexual....they believe in freedom of speech and also believe that the person expressing thier viewpoint has a right to do so without being piled on, abused and called nazis, homophobes, and other assorted epitaths .......
