In 2002 we rented a 1700 sq foot house (at that time value was 190,000) for 1100.00 a month in Gilbert AZ
I do agree - that the home selling business - atleast for the majority that we have spoken with, is normal business - people relocating, job transfers, upgrading, and downsizing.

190,000 in 2002 was kind of expensive, must have been a nice home..
That sounded like a better deal than the one I rented. I had to put up my own mini blinds..LOL

It appears that fundamentals are still somewhat more in line in Tucson. I'm not gonna compare what $1,100 was worth in 02 and now 'cause nobody's salary went through the roof as housing and everything else. Here, it looks to me that houses in 200-250K range are advertised for $1,000-1,300. Whether they get it I don't know...
