Williams is a very nice little town and close enough to Flagstaff for the other shopping and medical needs that you might have want of. Ashfork is another 20 minutes west of Williams and is much smaller. I personally like Williams however they have some hard cold winter weather at both cities. Williams is big enough that you never really have to leave town for the most part and the city is very friendly. Ashfork is more isolated with much less in the way of serving you as a community. If you didn’t try these two links you might want to visit them for more info.
