At least back home in Arizona you can install a swamp cooler in the garage and enjoy the day. I cannot wait to move back home. I am so homesick right now it is unbearable. And to think I was about to re-enlist.

Drinking water might not be a downside unless you can't drink the water!

NO. The water in AZ is not drinkable. You must buy your water, just like in MExico.

Thats a big negative Dizzydog. You can drink the water. I drank it all my life. I grew up in the middle of nowhere, with a well right in the middle of a farm field. We had our water tested when we moved in, due to the cow manure used to fertilize the fields, and it checked out good. Every few years we would have a follow up test performed, and it was good to go.

The water in your parts (city) may not be good, but I went 17 years on well water, and there isn't a thing wrong with me, or anyone in my family.

City water in Phoenix is FOUL, and disgusting. If you're drinking it I truly feel for you. You are drinking the crap water left over from Colorado. Seriously, do not drink the city water in Phoenix.

If you have a well that is private then perhaps you have a different situation.

The water in Arizona IS drinkable... perhaps not the tastiest at tap temperature, but chilled, it's ok. I drink a lot of bottled water for convenience as I'm out and about, but the environmental impact of all those bottles of various designer waters, and just plain drinking water, is beginning to get to me.
