Default We wouldn't want people like you here anyway!

First of all dian-AZ - don't come back we wouldn't want you here anyway. With a population of about 2700 - what would you expect for services. It's not a city it's just what it is a rural community. The park that you talk about is owned and operated by Mohave County. We are happy to have it and do not have any control over who maintains it. I love living in Dolan Springs there is nothing like it. Where did you go? The Wishing Well - you really shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

You won't find sunsets and sunrises like the ones attached anywhere else. This is Dolan Springs - come and see for yourself - don't take the word of this sourpuss.

dian-AZ - Perhaps when you visited us younger working folks were doing just that working. And did you ever think that maybe the Joshua Trees (which is actually a cactus) look dried up because of the 10 years of drought we've been having in this area? Actually that could be said for most of Arizona for that matter.

This is what I love about Dolan Springs, all of these fine folk who can't take any criticism.
The photo above was taken on Friday, August 28, 2009. I'll caption it "Town Meeting".

I suggest you look in Wikipedia before you start calling Joshua Trees cactus.

Love the cow picture ! They come to my yard, too. People say not to water them, but I never pay attention to humans. Not when it comes to the critters who are so entertaining. They get water at my homestead !

One person's trash is another person's treasure. Prefernce, choice, expectation; all the aformentioned color ones perception of a person PLACE or thing. You don't like Dolan...ok....then find your treasure elsewhere.

We haven't found our treasure ....yet...but we will.
