Thanks for keeping track of history, and for getting me back on track! This looks like my front yard...I have a beautiful view, peaceful and quiet.

Here is the original Santa Claus from my postcard collection. I used to eat there after they built the larger restaurant. What a nice couple that owned the place. Food was wonderful. This would be back about 1961. I can only imagine how the place looks now.

There was a double murder at Grasshopper Junction at the Chloride/hwy 93 crossroad years back. It's on the internet. A terrible thing, too.

I've been to Chloride and Santa Claus but not Dolan Springs. What is the body of water nearby? Is it the spring? Can you swim in the water?

I'm not sure about a spring, but the only body of water I can think of near there for swimming would be Lake Mead.

It is a small body of water east of Dolan Springs on the NOAA Weather Map.

People ask me how Dolan Springs got the name. Information is sketchy. The library has some information, and Chamber Of Commerce might be able to shed some light on the subject. There may be a few artesian wells. I believe there is a lake over in Gateway acres up in the mountains, but I may be wrong.
