That's true, and knowing that tip about the sensors is one very easy way to avoid the flash. I can't believe all these morons who slam on their brakes whenever they see the cameras, and continue to drive at ridiculously slow speeds long after they pass the camera locations. The cameras will not snap your gorgeous mug shots if you accelerate past the "breaking point" when driving past the sensors.

Cate Parker is on a distinguished road
My husband and I were gonig westbound on the 10 fwy in the slow lane. We were going less than the 55mph speed limit. I car passed us going very fast as we were both going past the Photo Radar camera. Guess who got the ticket??? Us. How do we fight this????

You may BOTH have received a ticket, did you consider that? Go to court and tell your story, perhaps the judge will believe you. Or, if you weren't actually served, you can try ignoring the mailed citation like many of the others here advise you to do (but don't answer your door for the next several months)
