Default Gas War in Flag!!

Hey All.....was up in Flag yesterday, July 16, and found gas at the Conoco on Butler, near San Francisco or so, to be $2.26/gallon....I said to the cashier that that's cheaper than Phx and she said a gas war had erupted over on Milton lately......while headed out down Milton toward I-17, I noticed almost all the stations nearer to downtown on Milton were also $2.26 while those closer to the interchange were $2.69....earlier, I noticed $2.59 at a couple stations out Ft Valley Rd.....

funny how some of us obsess over gas prices, eh?.....

not funny at all! what ticks me off is the am/pm with their lower prices, then the charge for using your debit card at the pump.
Flags a tad away to drive for .20 cents a gallon savings, but if it wasn't.......

btw....cheapest prices I ever witnessed during a gas war......11cents a gallon, middle of Kansas, about 1969. Normal prices would have been .23 or so.

Ain't capitalism great? Its the spirit of competition which made this country what it USED to be!
