Apartments In Surprise (Tucson, El Mirage: for sale, apartment complexes, lease)

Can anyone suggest - for a short term of a few months - apartments in Surprise or Perioa that might be good to stay while I look for a house? Some people tell me this is the way to go as opposed to staying in a motel there. Thanks I posted something like this earlier but it seems to be off the board for some reason so am trying again.

There are no Apartments in surprise that I am Aware of. There are in El Mirage which is right next door, but that could be a dangerous place to live. I don't think any apartment complexes will only rent out for a few months. They are going to want a lease. It should be easy to find a house. I know of a really nice house that is for sale in Surprise if you are interested. It is going for almost 300k.

I think I'm seeing double! Didn't I post to this thread before?? Oh wait, that was in the Phx forum (and it is still there).

Gotta tell everyone that posting about a city/town of the burbs of Phx is supposed to be posted in the PHX sub-forum, not the AZ forum. The AZ forum is really for any other places in AZ outside of the Phx and Tucson burbs. So, posting things twice for a Phx question won't get too far, and probably will just get moved to the appropriate forum anyway.

There are some nice apartments right off of Bell Rd & Litchfield - on Litchfield Rd just south on the west side of the street. At Bell & Litchfield, there is a TGIF. These apartments are about a 1/2 mile south (on the west side of the road) once you take a left on Litchfield. Had a client that lived in these before she bought a house last year. They are nice and according to her were reasonably priced (she is a single mom and had the 2 bdrm/2ba unit) - central AC, washer/dryer in the unit, big master bathroom with roman tub......I wish I could tell you the name of them, I cannot remember for the life of me, but they are nice and not run down - look maybe about 3-4 years old, I guess. Perhaps if you call the TGIF's there at the corner, it's possible someone may know the name of them or can find out. TGIF's number is 623-546-7727.

Yes, there are apartments in Surprise and LOTS going up right now. There's a nice gated apartment community right on Litchfield and Bell Rd. I don't know the name of any of these, but yes, we have apartments. There are also apartments near Grand Avenue, and they're building new ones on Greenway and Litchfield as well. These are just a few that look good to me...

Hrm! I can't think of the name of the ones off Litchfield & Bell either. It's actually bugging me. Like a song that you KNOW the name of...but cannot recall - at the tip of your tongue. Let me call TGIF and see if they know. This is killing me.


Ok, called TGIF - they said it's La Borgata. For some reason, La Borgata is not ringing with me - but there is another complex right by it as well. Anywho - I looked up these on the web for you - has a few listings on it for complexes in Surprise. Good luck!
